A Morning Prayer for a Child

"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.'" - Matthew 19:14

Dear Heavenly Father, I lift up my precious child to You today. Please watch over them as they learn and play, helping me guide them to be kind to others and to always choose what's right. Keep my little one safe in Your loving care, from morning until night, surrounded by Your grace and protection. Let them shine with Your light in all they do today. Amen.

A Prayer for Child's Protection

"For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." - Psalm 91:11

Loving God, I come before You to ask for my child's protection. Keep my little one safe and free from fear, guiding their steps throughout the day. Let them feel Your presence near in every moment. Grant them wisdom as they grow and fill their heart with love divine. Watch over them wherever they go, this precious child of mine and Thine. Surround them with Your heavenly protection and guard them from all harm. Amen.

An Evening Prayer for a Child

"When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet." - Proverbs 3:24

Gentle Father, as my child lies down to sleep, I pray their soul You safely keep. Send Your angels to watch through the night, until they wake in morning light. Bless our family, old and new, and keep us safe in all we do. Grant my child peaceful rest this night, protected by Your loving might. Let them feel Your presence close as they drift into peaceful dreams, knowing they are deeply loved and cherished. Amen.

A Prayer for Child's Growth

"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6

Gracious Lord, help me raise my child in faith, teaching them Your ways and showing them Your grace. Plant Your wisdom deep in their heart and let Your love shine brightly on their face. May they walk confidently in truth and light, sharing Your joy with all they meet. Guide us always, day and night, until their faith becomes complete and strong. Help them grow in wisdom, stature, and in favor with You and others. Amen.

A Prayer for Child's Learning

"Give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments." - Psalm 119:73

Dear God, I pray You'll bless my child's mind as they learn and discover the world You've created. Help them focus and understand, giving them patience when things are hard and joy in all that You have planned. Help me teach them to be kind to others and respect those who guide their way. Thank You for the gift of learning that You grant them each day. May their mind be open to knowledge and their heart ready to grow in understanding. Amen.
